The facts
In March 2025, NASA said astronomers using the James Webb Space Telescope saw bright hydrogen emission from a galaxy in the very early universe. That light was not supposed to travel easily. Neutral hydrogen in that era should have fogged it.
NASA said they have not nailed down the source of the emission. The uncertainty is part of the finding, not a footnote they forgot.
Our take
An institution found something weird and admitted it does not have the whole answer. Frame that. Put it on a mug. More of that, please.
A strange observation is an invitation to go look again. It is not permission to announce that physics is canceled and your uncle was right about the simulation. Scientists can revise an explanation without the universe being a conspiracy, you retard.
We built a machine that can inspect light from the early universe. That is an absurd flex for a species that still cannot share a microwave at work. Sit with the wonder for a second before you drag it into a comment war.
