The facts
On October 31, U.S. District Judge Darrin Gayles in Miami dismissed with prejudice a billion-dollar lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump against The Wall Street Journal, Rupert Murdoch, and others. The lawsuit stemmed from a Journal story published in 2019 about a 2003 birthday letter attributed to Trump and included in an album for Jeffrey Epstein. Judge Gayles ruled that Trump did not plausibly plead actual malice, the standard required for public-figure defamation claims. The judge stated that the amended complaint's allegations were conclusory, vague, sometimes inconsistent with the article, and often irrelevant to whether the defendants knew the story was false. The ruling also noted that The Wall Street Journal reported Trump's denial of the letter's significance. This case had been dismissed once in April, then refiled in May after Trump was permitted to amend his complaint.
Our take
Here we fucking go again. Another judge has taken Donald Trump's latest legal turd, a billion-dollar defamation suit over a story about a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein, and flushed it with extreme prejudice. This is the second time this exact pile of shit has been dismissed, you grasping, litigious asshole. You lost in April, you were allowed to amend your complaint in May like a toddler getting a second chance to not shit on the floor, and you still produced nothing but 'conclusory, vague, sometimes inconsistent' word-vomit that a federal judge has now torched forever. 'With prejudice' means this case is deader than your credibility, you grifting cunt. It means the court has officially declared your legal argument to be pure, uncut bullshit with no hope of resuscitation. The judge pointed out you couldn't even plausibly plead 'actual malice,' the required standard, because the fucking article you sued over included your own pathetic denial of the letter's significance. So your entire lawsuit was based on the premise that the Wall Street Journal defamed you by... reporting what you said. You sued them for quoting your own whiny rebuttal. That's not a legal strategy; it's the brain-damaged logic of a petulant prick who thinks the justice system is a complaint box for his fee-fees. You demanded a billion dollars because a newspaper mentioned a note you allegedly wrote to a pedophile's birthday album. Let's sit with that for a second. You priced your own creepy, alleged association with a sex trafficker at a billion smackers. The court has now appraised it at precisely zero dollars and zero cents, plus the court costs you'll undoubtedly bitch about not paying. You even dragged Rupert Murdoch into this, you dickhead. The fucking puppet master of your own primary propaganda network. The sheer, jaw-dropping vanity of suing the man whose media empire gargles your balls daily is a special kind of stupid. It's like a ventriloquist's dummy suing the ventriloquist for moving its lips. This was never about winning. It was about performance - about feeding the cult the narrative that you're a brave warrior fighting the 'fake news' that documented your sketchy social calendar. It's the legal equivalent of shitting your pants on purpose and then screaming that the smell is a deep-state hoax. Well, the court has ruled the smell is just your own fault, you litigious bastard. Case closed. Get fucked.
