The facts

The Guardian reported on 30 September 2026 that the U.S. Supreme Court granted the Justice Department’s request to stay a ruling by Boston‑based U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy that had declared the Department of Homeland Security’s policy of sending migrants to “third countries” unlawful. The Court’s order allows the Trump administration to resume those deportations while the case proceeds, and it scheduled arguments for December with a final decision to follow. The three liberal justices dissented. Federal attorneys said the lower‑court order had forced the cancellation of a flight carrying about 70 people. Human‑rights groups estimate more than 25,000 people have been deported to 29 countries, most to Mexico, with some to South Sudan, Uganda and other nations.

Our take

What a load of assholes. The Supreme Court just gave the Trump administration permission to keep deporting asylum seekers to specific countries they've designated, like trash. They’re basically saying, 'Hey, yeah, we know it’s probably illegal, but go ahead and do it anyway.' The court allowed the Department of Homeland Security to resume its ‘third-country’ deportation policy after a lower court called it out for being unlawful. Now, over 25,000 people have been shipped off to 29 countries, including some total messes like South Sudan and Uganda. And get this - federal attorneys admitted that they had to cancel a flight because of the lower court's order. A flight! With 70 people on it! What a disaster. The liberal justices were like, 'Uh, guys, maybe we shouldn’t be doing this,' but who cares what they think? The Supreme Court's order is a huge win for the Trump administration’s shady immigration policies. It’s like they’re competing in some kind of cruel joke contest, and the Supreme Court just handed them the trophy. The court has scheduled arguments for December, but let’s be real, it’s not like it matters. The damage is done. More than 25,000 people have already been treated like garbage, and now the Supreme Court is giving the green light for more. What an absolute crap house. Shitting on Migrants Rights is basically the Supreme Court’s new motto. They can put it on a f**king t-shirt. And honestly, if I had to choose between South Sudan and Uganda as my third country of deportation, I'd rather go to Uganda - at least they have nice lakes. Damn like this makes me wonder if the Supreme Court just needs to start calling themselves the Ministry of Cruelty and get it over with. They’re clearly not here to protect human rights; they’re here to s**t all over them. So, great job, Supreme Court. You’ve managed to turn thousands of lives into a crapshoot. Enjoy your new role as the migrant-dumping squad. Pricklingly awful decisions like this one make the rest of us look like we’re stuck in some third-rate dystopian novel. Assholes. Let’s see how they sleep at night, knowing they just enabled another 25,000 people to be treated like disposable trash. As the saying goes, well-behaved courts seldom make history – but these clowns are making it, one terrible decision at a time.
