The facts
On Saturday night a “hot prowl burglary” call was logged for actress Monet Mazur’s Hollywood Hills home. Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived before 11:30 p.m.; at least one victim was inside when the suspects tried to gain entry, then fled before police got there. The Post reported that Mazur’s security cameras captured three people in black ski masks, while TMZ said the suspects triggered the home’s alarm when they tried the front door and ran off. Police searched the residence, found no suspects, no injuries and filed a burglary report. The incident was confirmed by Fox News Digital.
Our take
Here’s the raw truth: three absolute cunts in ski masks showed up at Monet Mazur’s house, tried the front door, and bolted like their balls were on fire before the cops could even get their dicks out. The Post, that desperate rag, spins a story that Mazur personally stared down the crooks and scared them off. TMZ, that other bucket of shit, says the alarm screamed and the idiots ran. Both are bullshit fan‑fiction, but the hilarious part is the petty detail they’re fighting over. They agree on the useless suspects, the empty‑handed escape, and the complete lack of any actual drama, yet they each build a fairy‑tale around a non‑event because their only product is conflict. The Post needs a heroine; TMZ needs a product demo. The alarm, if it even went off, did the one job a beeping box can do without a byline or a heroic quote. It just beeped, and three masked bastards shit themselves and ran. The tabloids can keep arguing about which fairy tale you should believe while the only verified fact is that the house’s cheapest electronic component accomplished more than the criminals or the journalists. The real winner is the alarm, if it even worked. It didn’t need a hero, a press release, or a damn press conference – it just did its job and left the idiots to lick their wounds. The whole episode is a spectacular failure that the media is trying to dress up as a thriller, and the only thing that actually scared the crooks was a stupid beep, not a badass actress or a heroic dog. Fuck the tabloids, they’re just fighting over who gets credit for a crime that never really happened.
