The facts
In a Time magazine interview, former President Donald Trump repeatedly declined to state whether he supports Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reelection bid ahead of the October 27 Israeli elections. Trump stated that he was no longer involved in politics, according to AP. This statement comes as Trump is actively campaigning for Republican candidates in the upcoming November midterm elections and has previously endorsed foreign politicians, including Viktor Orbán of Hungary, Sanae Takaichi of Japan, and Karol Nawrocki of Poland. Netanyahu has often used his close ties with Trump as a campaign advantage. AP described Trump’s refusal to endorse Netanyahu as a setback for the Israeli Prime Minister. Despite not endorsing his reelection, Trump did praise Netanyahu’s political resilience. The interview took place on October 1, 2026.
Our take
What a spectacularly gutless performance. Donald Trump, the human endorsement vending machine who shits out support for Hungarian strongmen, Japanese politicians, and Polish bureaucrats, has suddenly discovered the sacred principle of non-interference. But mysteriously, this profound statesmanlike restraint only activates for Benjamin Netanyahu, the one guy who has spent years polishing Trump's knob as his core fucking campaign strategy. The prick is actively crisscrossing the United States, holding rallies and anointing Republican candidates for the midterms, but when Time magazine asks about his 'good friend' Bibi, he morphs into a fucking monastic hermit. 'I'm no longer involved in politics,' he says, a lie so brazen it should be studied by scientists as a new form of atmospheric bullshit.
Netanyahu is now the dickhead left standing at the altar with a bouquet of dead roses and a receipt for the engagement ring. He sold his political soul, wagering his entire 'strong leader' brand on his chummy photo-ops with this orange clown, only for Trump to treat him like a used tissue. The AP calls it a 'setback,' but that's too kind. It's a public, humiliating pantsing. Netanyahu bet his career on being Trump's special little guy, and Trump's response is to look the other way and whistle, proving their 'unbreakable bond' was as durable as a soap bubble in a hurricane.
And the coward's parting gift? A backhanded compliment about Netanyahu's 'political resilience.' That's not praise, you asshole; it's the verbal equivalent of patting a burn victim on the head and saying, 'You sure can take the heat.' It's a diagnosis of a pathetic condition - the resilience of a guy who keeps hugging a porcupine and is surprised he gets pricked. Trump's entire philosophy is a transactional shitshow: people are appliances he uses until they break, then he pretends he never bought the warranty. He'll endorse Viktor Orbán because it owns the libs, but offering a simple 'yes' for Netanyahu would require a molecule of loyalty or consistency, two concepts that give Trump explosive psychic diarrhea.
So he weasels out with this transparent, piss-weak dodge, leaving his supposed ally twisting in the wind. Bibi built his whole fucking house on the foundation of Trump's vanity, and now that vanity has decided to redecorate, leaving nothing but cracked concrete and the echoing laughter of everyone who saw this coming. The ultimate joke is on the suckers who believed the hype. Tough shit, you absolute cunts.
