The facts
Former President Donald Trump has criticized the Supreme Court's decision to block his executive order that would have curbed mail-in voting. Trump referred to mail-in voting, which he has used himself, as a "laughing stock" globally and reiterated his claims that the method is prone to fraud. He stated on Truth Social, "The Supreme Court has really let our Country down! Certain Justices are petrified of these crazed and depraved Democrats, and are totally unable to show the courage necessary to save our America." Only Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito sided with the administration in their dissent. Trump described these two conservative justices as "legends." He further alleged, "This Supreme Court is bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left into making decisions that have set America back at least a hundred years." The former president also criticized the court's earlier rulings that rejected his executive order on birthright citizenship and found several administration tariffs unlawful. He expressed disappointment with Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, whom he nominated, stating they were "merely a shell of their original selves." Trump concluded, "The damage done to America is incalculable, and they know this, just as everyone else does – It is an irreparable and unrecoverable harm! The Court’s inability and unwillingness to do the right thing for our Country will go down, in a very negative way, in the annals of History." He felt compelled to write this criticism despite potential personal cost, viewing it as his obligation as president.
Our take
Donald Trump, the only man to ever use a product he claims is broken, is back on his bullshit. The Supreme Court, in a shocking turn of events, decided that maybe the guy who votes by mail shouldn’t get to ban everyone else from doing it. The ruling sent the former president into a spiral so profound he’s now publicly shitting on the three justices he personally jammed onto the court, calling them hollow, spineless shells. Apparently, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett were perfect little conservative dolls when he interviewed them, but have since been body-snatched by the ‘Radical Left’ and now lack the ‘courage’ to dismantle democracy for him. The only ‘legends’ left in his book are the two fossilized justices, Thomas and Alito, who were apparently willing to sign any piece of paper he put in front of them, even if it said ‘I am a fucking moron’ at the bottom. The sheer, breathtaking hypocrisy of a man who has mailed his own ballot multiple times calling the system a ‘laughing stock’ is the kind of galaxy-brain logic usually reserved for cartoon villains explaining their plan to a tied-up kitten. He’s not mad the system is fraudulent; he’s mad it’s not fraudulent *enough* in his favor. His entire presidency was a test to see if the institutions would bend, and now that the final one has told him to get bent, he’s writing sad-boy posts about ‘incalculable damage’ and ‘unrecoverable harm,’ which is what you say when you lose a game of Monopoly and flip the board. The real irreparable harm is that we have to keep listening to this spoiled, orange man-baby whine every time the adults in the room don’t let him eat the glue. He ended his tantrum by claiming this criticism will ‘cost me dearly for years to come,’ which is the closest he’s ever come to admitting that constantly being a litigious, lying fuck might have professional consequences. Cry harder, you traitorous sack of shit. The court didn’t let the country down; it just finally refused to be your personal cock-ring.
