Deters stated that Guilfoyle ultimately did not deliver on these promises, despite him paying her $300,000 over time. Guilfoyle's attorney disputed the authenticity of communications with Deters and noted she was paid to speak at events prior to her nomination. Garcia expressed concerns about a "culture of impunity" and potential public corruption and national security risks if Trump administration officials could be influenced by donors. He has set a deadline of October 22 for Guilfoyle to provide relevant documents. Separately, top Democrats on House and Senate Foreign Affairs committees have also called for an investigation into reports of Guilfoyle's alleged inappropriate involvement with a lobbyist for a Greek company. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, when asked about the scrutiny in Greece, praised Guilfoyle's performance as ambassador but declined to comment on the specific allegations, questioning the veracity of the reporting.

The House Oversight Committee wants her records because she reportedly begged a donor for $100,000 to cover her personal credit card bill, promising him the keys to the Trump administration in return. This isn't high-stakes corruption; it's a fucking yard sale where the merchandise is the Justice Department and the seller is a broke-ass clown who can't manage her own finances.
The donor, Eric Deters, says he coughed up $300,000 over time for promises of access that never materialized. Guilfoyle’s defense? Her lawyer claims the communications aren't real and that she was paid to speak at events. So her best alibi is that she’s a professional bullshit artist for hire. That tracks. She allegedly tried to sell influence like a timeshare, but couldn't even deliver the fucking brochure. Now top Democrats are also looking into her alleged inappropriate lobbying side-gig with a Greek company. The entire operation seems to be built on a ‘culture of impunity’ where the only thing being exported is the spectacle of a confirmed public official treating her post like a cash app for idiots.
