FBI Director's 'Patel Report' Is a Classified Monument to His Own Dickhead Vanity

A secret internal document named after the boss catalogs the bureau's past failures, serving as the cornerstone of his ongoing campaign to purge anyone who ever looked at Donald Trump funny.

The facts

The FBI has distributed a classified report to its employees that examines what the agency describes as historical instances where it "fell short," according to an internal message obtained by the Associated Press. The document, referred to as the "Patel Report," is named after FBI Director Kash Patel. While the specific historical episodes covered are not detailed, the report's existence aligns with Patel's public criticisms of previous FBI leadership and his stated goal of removing agents he believes have politicized the bureau. Critics, however, contend that Patel himself has weaponized the FBI and is attempting to rewrite history to favor President Donald Trump. Patel had pledged not to look backward during his confirmation hearing, but as director, he has reportedly encouraged investigations into former senior officials and overseen significant staff terminations. These include employees involved in long-standing investigations of Trump, those photographed at a racial justice protest, and individuals who contributed to a disputed analytical memo on Catholic extremism. An FBI message signed by co-deputy directors Christopher Raia and Andrew Bailey stated, "The Patel Report looks backward because accountability demands it," framing it as the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another. The FBI declined to comment on the report, and it remains unclear if it includes specific recommendations or demands for action. The message also stated, "We can recognize failures instead of protecting them. We can hold people accountable. We can fix what was broken." Patel's critics argue that politically charged investigations and the punishment of agents involved in investigations of Trump have eroded public trust in the FBI.

Our take

Holy shit. The FBI’s top clown, Kash Patel, has finally achieved the bureaucratic equivalent of taking a selfie, printing it on vellum, and demanding his entire workforce worship it as holy scripture. He’s produced a classified report - named after himself, because of course it fucking is - that supposedly details where the bureau “fell short.” This isn’t accountability; it’s a masturbatory fantasy bound in a classified cover. The Patel Report is the institutional version of a toddler scribbling “I WIN” over a coloring book he just stole from his sibling. The specific failures aren’t even detailed, which is the whole fucking joke: the report’s only concrete purpose is to exist as a monument to Patel’s own rancid narrative that everyone before him was a politicized asshole.

Let’s revisit this prick’s word, shall we? He stood before Congress and pledged not to look backward. Then he got the big chair and immediately started looking backward so hard he gave himself whiplash, launching investigations into former bosses and firing people for the crime of having investigated Donald Trump, for being photographed at a protest, or for writing an analysis he didn’t like. His pledge was bullshit, a flimsy paper shield he tossed aside the second he could use the FBI’s resources as his personal revenge engine. Now he’s commissioning a report to retroactively justify that purge, a document so vital to national security that its contents are secret, but its title must be his own fucking name.

His co-deputy dickheads, Christopher Raia and Andrew Bailey, had the audacity to sign a message calling this farce “accountability.” They said the report “looks backward because accountability demands it.” No, you bootlicking sycophants. It looks backward because your boss is a petty, vindictive little man whose entire worldview is a grievance. Accountability under Patel means holding people accountable for not being loyal to Donald Trump. It means fixing what was broken by breaking the careers of anyone who ever crossed the Dear Leader. The message’s platitudes about recognizing failures are the administrative equivalent of a mob boss giving a speech about community service while his goons break kneecaps in the next room.

The sheer, unadulterated vanity of this operation is what makes Patel such a colossal cunt. He isn’t reforming an institution; he’s building a shrine to himself inside it. The report is the foundational brick. It doesn’t need recommendations or action items. Its existence is the action. It’s a classified trophy he can point to and say, See? I told you they were all failures. He’s creating his own reality, a sealed, secret bubble where his every pre-existing bias is confirmed by official FBI letterhead. It’s the ultimate power move of a small, insecure bastard: rewriting history in a document nobody else can read, just to prove he’s the smartest guy in the room. What a pathetic, transparent, ego-wanking grift.
