The facts
Belgian prosecutors allege that Flor Bressers and Sérgio Roberto de Carvalho led a criminal organization suspected of transporting up to 45 tonnes of cocaine to Europe. The month-long trial in Brussels featured 31 defendants, with prosecutors describing front companies used to move hundreds of millions of dollars, including an Antwerp water-treatment firm. Bressers, a criminology graduate known as 'the Finger cutter,' faces charges including kidnapping and leading a criminal organization. He was arrested in Zurich in 2022. Carvalho, formerly a Brazilian police officer known as 'Major' and in Europe as 'the Brazilian Escobar,' was arrested in Budapest in 2022. Prosecutors claim they coordinated a multinational operation that moved cocaine from Peru and Bolivia through Brazil to Europe. Bressers, who had been on Europol's most wanted list, denied the charges, calling it a media witch-hunt. Carvalho maintained his innocence, claiming a namesake committed the crimes. Hearings concluded on October 9, with a verdict expected on December 15. If convicted, Bressers could face up to 20 years in prison, and Carvalho up to 15 years.
Our take
Here’s a lesson for any aspiring criminology students: if you graduate and immediately become an international drug lord nicknamed ‘the Finger cutter,’ you forfeit the right to call your eventual arrest a ‘media witch-hunt.’ That’s the pathetic bleat from Flor Bressers, a man whose alleged career path reads like a community college brochure for ‘What Not To Do With Your Degree.’ This prick didn’t just fail to uphold the law; he allegedly used his education to perfect kidnapping and build a pipeline for 45 fucking tonnes of cocaine. His co-star in this shitshow, Sérgio Carvalho, a former Brazilian cop, has an excuse so stupid it loops back around to being a kind of genius: a namesake did it. Yes, another Sérgio Roberto de Carvalho, also a Brazilian ex-cop also nicknamed ‘Major,’ also allegedly coordinating a global coke ring from Budapest, just happened to exist. What a remarkable fucking coincidence. These two dickheads didn’t just run a cartel; they curated a theme park of clichés, complete with a ‘Brazilian Escobar’ and a front company in Antwerp that ‘treated water.’ Sure. And the billions in cash were just a side-effect of really, really clean H2O. Their defense is a masterclass in cuntish vanity, believing the world is as gullible as the customs agents they allegedly bribed. One cries persecution from the shadow of his own chopped-off digits, the other blames his fucking doppelgänger. They turned multinational crime into a farce of aliases and alibis thinner than the coke they allegedly cut. Now they wait for a verdict, a criminology graduate and a dirty cop, their legacy not one of feared kingpins but of laughable, greedy bastards who got caught because their cover story was a water-treatment plant. Fuck their witch-hunt. This is just the broom finally sweeping up the trash. Merry Christmas, pricks. Your gift is due December 15th, and it’s not from Santa - it’s from a Belgian judge who’s heard enough of your bullshit. Rot well. The only thing you ever successfully laundered was your own reputation, and even that came out looking like shit-stained linen. Absolute fucking clowns, the pair of you. The only finger being cut now is the one pointing at your own reflections in the courtroom glass.
