Mamdani told MS NOW’s Jacob Soboroff that the plain‑clothes agents in the video were indistinguishable from a mass‑shooter scenario, leaving bystanders confused about who they were watching. He added that ICE agents “view the law as a suggestion,” contrasting their actions with New York Police Department policy that generally prohibits officers from firing at occupants of a vehicle. Mamdani reiterated his call for ICE to cease operations in New York City and said the NYPD would review the shooting. At the time of the interview, Belgal remained in custody, having been booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after hospital treatment.

New York’s top elected dipshit has watched a video of a shooting and delivered his diagnosis: the armed men firing guns are not law enforcement, but mass shooters. This is the political equivalent of watching a plumber unclog a toilet and screaming ‘OH MY GOD, HE’S MAKING A SHIT SMOOTHIE.’ The man’s entire fucking brain is a pre-written press release. He says the plain-clothes agents were ‘indistinguishable’ from a mass-shooter scenario. Of course they were, you absolute clown - when men in civilian clothes start blasting in the street, the immediate thought for any sane person is ‘federal agents executing a warrant,’ not ‘oh fuck, active shooter.’ That’s the whole point of plain clothes, you self-important prick: they’re not wearing a neon sign that says ‘HELLO, I AM FROM THE GOVERNMENT.’ The only thing they made indistinguishable was the line between a mayor and a panic-stricken bystander with a microphone. His brilliant insight? ICE agents ‘view the law as a suggestion.’ And Mayor Mamdani views ‘coherent thought’ as a fucking obstacle. He then holds up the NYPD - a department with a budget line item for ‘settlements for suggesting people stop breathing’ - as the paragon of restraint because they have a policy about not shooting into cars.
