Bourbon Baron's Busted Spy Ring: CEO Fired Over Hidden Cameras in Family Homes and Resort

TKC Distilling canned CEO Wes Henderson after a lawsuit claims he planted about 15 spy cameras in fire alarms, clocks, and bathroom vents to record nude relatives, guests, and minors, turning his whiskey empire into a pervert's peep show.

The facts

TKC Distilling, the parent company of The Kentucky Castle and True Story Whiskey, fired CEO Wes Henderson on October 3, 2026, following a lawsuit filed in June by family members. The lawsuit, obtained by The Courier Journal, alleges Henderson used hidden cameras disguised as fire alarms, clocks, and chargers to record relatives and guests at his homes and The Kentucky Castle resort in Versailles, Kentucky. According to reports, approximately 15 cameras were discovered, including some hidden in a bathroom air vent. The complaint describes footage of guests changing clothes and using bathrooms unknowingly, as well as individuals engaged in sexual acts. Some alleged recordings also showed minors nude. Henderson's attorney stated that Wes Henderson unequivocally denies the allegations and expects the complaint to be voluntarily dismissed, but is prepared to defend himself if it is not. The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly examining the alleged recordings. The lawsuit identifies 40 individuals who appeared in the recordings without consent and seeks damages for pain and suffering and medical expenses. Separately, TKC Distilling has faced lawsuits over unpaid bills. Henderson's son, Kyle Henderson, is set to take over as CEO.

Our take

Alright, let's get this straight. The bourbon business is all about heritage, tradition, and the slow, dignified aging of spirits. Wes Henderson, the CEO of TKC Distilling, decided to add a new tasting note: felony-level fucking perversion. This absolute cunt allegedly turned his family homes and a luxury resort called The Kentucky Castle into his own private pervert's paradise, rigging the joint with about 15 hidden cameras. We're not talking sophisticated spy shit. This dickhead used fire alarms, clocks, and chargers. He allegedly hid one in a bathroom air vent. What a cheap, cowardly piece of shit. He wasn't building a fucking artisanal surveillance state; he was building a bargain-bin wank bank.

The lawsuit says this prick was recording people changing, using the bathroom, and even engaged in sexual acts, all without their knowledge. And let's not breeze past the part where the complaint says some of the alleged footage showed minors nude. That's not a corporate fuck-up; that's a one-way ticket to being the most hated man in Kentucky, a state that knows a thing or two about hating people. His attorney's weak-ass statement about him 'unequivocally' denying it and expecting the complaint to be 'voluntarily dismissed' is the kind of bullshit you expect from a man who thought a clock-cam was a good idea. The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly looking at the tapes, which means this asshole's home movies might just become federal evidence.

This wasn't some isolated moment of madness. The lawsuit identifies 40 fucking people who allegedly appeared in his creepy collection. Forty people who thought they were at a family gathering or a nice resort, not starring in 'The Wes Henderson Secret Stalker Hour.' They're suing for pain and suffering and medical expenses, which is code for 'therapy bills to forget your uncle is a predatory voyeur.' And while all this was allegedly going on, his company was getting sued separately for not paying its bills. So the business model was: don't pay for goods and services, but do invest in covert recording equipment to violate your family. Solid plan, you grifting bastard.

Now he's fired, and his son Kyle is taking over as CEO. Good luck with that rebrand, kid. 'True Story Whiskey' now has a very true, very shitty story: the founder was a alleged secret-filming piece of shit who treated his relatives like free porn. They should rename the flagship bourbon 'Hidden Camera Reserve' and the castle tour 'The Voyeur's Villa.' Every sip would taste like betrayal and bathroom vent footage. What a pathetic, disgusting legacy. The only thing aged in his barrels was his own rotten fucking character.
